NLA Class of 1969 Reunion

The class of 1969 invites all the graduates of NLA to their 40th year class reunion on July 18, 2009. This will be held at the residence of Marlys Hinckley, at 15053 311th Ave. Hoven, SD 57450.

We would invite you to come at 8 PM on Saturday evening and from 8 PM to 9 PM is a get acquainted hour. Then from 9 PM to 1 AM a DJ will be playing the music from the 50's, 60's and 70's. There will also be a laser show with the music.

On Sunday July 19th, 2009, we will be going to Zion Lutheran Church in Mobridge at the 10 AM service. After the service we will make "the walk" (if you come early and park there, you can walk down also) back to the Academy and will have a buffet lunch, at what use to be the student union and cafeteria, and is now a Pizza Ranch. The Pizza Ranch will seat close to 100, but they would like a ball park number, so if you could email me with the tentative amount I would appreciate it.

After lunch we will tour the old campus.

If you could put this date on your calendars we would appreciate seeing you, and remembering old times from NLA.

Directions from Mobridge to my house (45 miles): take Hyw 12 east to Selby and then south 18 miles on Hyw 83 to Hyw 20 east. Take Hyw 20 east for 8 miles then turn south on the paved road (311th Ave) that says Gettysburg south. Travel 2 1/2 miles south and I am to the west 1/4 mile. You can see the house from the highway.

From Gettysburg, SD: take 311th Ave (on east edge of town) 13 miles north. Merrill Hinckley is on the mail box.

From Hoven, SD: take Hyw 20 west 8 miles to 311th Ave. Travel 2 1/2 miles south and I am to the west 1/4 mile.
