Dear Classmate,
It's time for an update on the class reunion.
First of all, the official dates for the class reunion are June 29th-July 1st. The motel we will be staying at
is the Ramkota Best Western of Rapid City and the address is as follows:

Their website is rapidcity.ramkota.com. There is a block of rooms reserved for us. When you call to make your
reservations (or do them online), tell them you are part of the NLA Class of 1972 to get the $129.00 rate (plus
tax-of course). It would be prudent to do it early to ensure you have a room.
Also, check out www.blackhillsgrayline.com. We will be picked up at our motel the Ramkota Best Western. The date
for this is June 30th. This is a 9-hour tour. It starts at 7am and will get us back to the motel at 4:30 (or
thereabouts). Here is the information I received from their website:
“Our website will likely be updated for 2012 in October or November. I will hold the $64.00 plus tax rate with
special notes of -- PLEASE-- emphasize "NLA Class of 1972" on the campground line of the reservation
page on www.blackhillsgrayline.com. Our rates are going up in 2012, but I will hold to this as a group rate for
your reunion.
That would be great to be able to designate a difference when reservations are placed for that day. We can certainly
plan on Ramkota (typical pick-up time between 7:00-7:10 am). All would go very smooth with the on-line reservations
on our website with the name listed on their reservation requests.”

Follow the directions listed above to get the rate quoted and designate us as a group. If you have any questions
call the 800-number or email them like I did to get the info you need.
That evening we will be dining in our own special room at the motel. Minervas is located right at the motel and
they will have a sufficient amount of items for our dining pleasure. I am sure there will be food and drink for
us and we will all be sated. (I requested Chicken ala Pfiefer but they were unfamiliar with that.)
On Sunday we can attend church at St. Paul’s Lutheran. Doug Free and Peter Sulzle are pastors there. I will contact
them and let them know we are coming. It would be nice to have something there during or even after church. A
time for visiting would be nice before we go our separate ways. If some want to hang around and enjoy the beauty
of the Hills that would be great.
In December, I will be contacting you for your intentions so we can get some numbers to give to Minervas.
I still do not have Jay Kirschmann's, or Twyla Baranek’s address. Also, someone suggested contacting Rick Lueck.
I tried to contact Gerald Geisler but could not find info on him. I know he attended an NLA reunion thing at
Great Plains so he is somewhere in the Watertown area. I will be more than willing to send any info their way

I am not on Classmates.com. If any of you are and know there are classmates on it have them get in contact with
me so I can send info to them.
AND—if you have any suggestions feel free to let me know. So far I think this should be a good way to get together.
We had a nice reunion in 2002 and this hopefully will be too.
